It is well worth downloading it and paying the modest fee to use it on your own machine (plus it is the ethical thing to do as in the future you will like to be paid for your efforts as a software producer!). The CSC department has a licence for it and it is thus available in all labs machines. TextPad is an excellent editor for the Windows environment.
